November 29, 2017, Leandra English, an Obama Obama-holdover, received disappointing news when U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly ruled in favor of the Trump administration. English wanted to get a temporary restraining order in order to stop President Trump from appointing White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney as acting director of the CFPB.
Judge Kelly said that he won’t approve her restraining order against Trump, allowing him to install Mulvaney as director of the agency. Richard Cordray, the former director, allegedly resigned in late November and left his chief of staff Leondra English as deputy director.
English is just another example of the liberal machine placed under former President Obama, that wants to keep its grip on our government agencies and prevents President Trump from making any kind of change. the 2010 Dodd-Frank Act, stated that the organization’s deputy director can act as a director when the director is “absent or unavailable.” So, when Cordray left, English thought she will be in charge and as soon as Trump announced his appointee Mulvaney she got mad.
Since Trump’s inauguration, this is what the administration is facing with every day, many Obama-holdovers are still in our government trying to obstruct the work of the good people. They are still angry they’ve lost the elections so interfering with someone else’s work seems the appropriate thing to do.
President Trump used his right under the Federal Vacancies Reform Act to appoint Mulvaney as the director. English field a lawsuit saying his appointment was unlawful and that she is the acting director now according to the law.
Mulvaney started his new job as acting director on Monday, Nov. 27. Mary McLeod, who is the general counsel for the CFPB, sent a memo to the agency’s management team saying President Trump had every right to appoint him as an acting director. And thankfully Judge Kelly shares the same opinion as her.
English, unsatisfied with Judge Kelly’s ruling, stated, “Today, I plan on spending the day at CFPB headquarters taking calls and meetings with external stakeholders and bureau staff.” After the court’s decision, Kelly made a promise to continue the legal battle against Trump and wanted to let everybody know that Kelly is a Trump-appointee. President Trump has the authority and the right to appoint whomever he wants without angry liberals obstructing him in the way.
The Principal Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah had much to say about English’s attempt to stay in control over the CFPB. “The administration applauds the court’s decision, which provides further support for the president’s rightful authority to designate Director Mulvaney as acting director of the CFPB.” Shah added, “It’s time for the Democrats to stop enabling this brazen political stunt by a rogue employee and allow Acting Director Mulvaney to continue the Bureau’s smooth transition into an agency that truly serves to help consumers.”
I think everyone agrees with Shah. Democrats need to understand that their time has passed and they should get out of the way of President Trump and his administration work
During this day there was a press briefing in the White House. The reporters started a conversation in which they shared many untrue statements about the fake dispute between President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. However, the White House press secretary Sara Huckabee couldn’t stand it anymore and had to push back the provocations. As per Subject Politics, the secretary got nourished up from all the false allegations shared from MSNBC Reporter Hallie Jackson. The things warmed up when Huckabee got an inquiry from Jackson with respect to the joke told from President Trump, about how he and Tillerson took an IQ test. Sarah Huckabee answered: “Again, he wasn’t questioning the Secretary of State’s intelligence. He made a joke. Maybe you guys should get a sense of humor and try it sometime. He simply made a joke. He has been extremely clear time and time again, despite the fact that you guys want to continue ...
Bill and Hillary Clinton have repeatedly lied to the American people, making them both unfit to return to the White House, Judge Jeanine Pirro said on “Justice” last night. She pointed out that Bill was impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice, only escaping an indictment by accepting a penalty short of criminal conviction. She added that Hillary has been investigated for everything from the Rose Law Firm to Whitewater to cattle futures to her private email server. And that’s not even going into the controversies surrounding the Clinton Foundation, Judge Jeanine said. “So what should we Americans reasonably believe? Nothing that they say,” Judge Jeanine said. “The Clintons repeatedly violate our standard of truthfulness and honesty.” “So should these people be trusted to run this country? Should Hillary Clinton be trusted to run for president of the United States? Should the Clintons be trusted to go back into the White House? The answer is positively, ab...
This past Wednesday, CIA director Mike Pompeo announced the release of “nearly 470,000 additional files,” including Osama bin Ladin’s journal, that former President Barack Obama has been hiding. The files in question were recovered during the raid that killed bin Ladin in May of 2011. At the time of the raid on the Abbottabad, Pakistan, compound, Obama’s national security adviser Tom Donilon spoke many times about the massive amount of intelligence that was brought back from Pakistan by the U.S. Navy SEALs who carried out the mission. The CIA operatives in attendance described the amount being large enough to fill a “small college library.” A senior military intelligence official who briefed reporters at the Pentagon on May 7, 2011, said, “As a result of the raid, we’ve acquired the single largest collection of senior terrorist materials ever.” But later in Obama’s presidency all this only amounted to 571 documents? Hardly enough to fill a small library. Where were the do...
